Overview
A Windows utility suite for engineers working with RS485 devices. It connects over any COM port, sends and schedules commands, polls nodes and logs every frame — turning tedious serial debugging into a point-and-click workflow. It ships in single-node (Communicator) and multi-node (MultiNode) variants.
The challenge
Serial debugging is painful
Bringing up RS485 hardware usually means hand-crafting hex frames in a raw terminal and eyeballing responses one at a time.
No repeatable test workflow
Engineers had no easy way to save command sets, poll on an interval, or keep an audit log of what was sent and received.
Our approach
A command list, not a terminal
Define named commands with data and auto-calculated checksums, toggle them on or off, and send with a single click.
Automated polling & statistics
Poll selected commands on a configurable interval, with live TX/RX frame and error counters showing link health at a glance.
Full logging & licensing
Every frame is timestamped and saved to disk, and the app ships as a proper commercial product with trial and activation built in.
